Our goal: to be the heart of every town we serve.
We are committed to giving back to the communities we serve, not only through financial resources, but with our talent and time. Through our “Community Counts” program, we’re giving back to the towns we serve and are actively involved in many charitable causes and sponsorships, as well as associate volunteerism efforts. A prime example of this philanthropic spirit is our “30 Days of Giving” initiative. Team members at each store designate a local organization to receive customer donations that are collected over a 30-day period. 100% of those donations benefit the select organizations. With millions of dollars raised thus far through this program and many others, it is our hope to help our customers seize every opportunity for a bright future.
Recently some of our communities in southern Georgia were impacted by the tornadoes and severe weather. To lend a helping hand through our Disaster Relief Assistance Program, Tracy Odom, Goody's District Manager, presented Terri Jenkins, Executive Director of the American Red Cross of South Georgia with a $5,000 donation to help keep families healthy and safe.
Goody's is proud to be part of the community, and are here to help whenever help is needed. #CommunityCounts

For a fifth year, Stage Stores kicked of the holiday season with a check presentation to Marine Toys for Tots Foundation (MTFTF). The organization’s peak season is the winter holidays, when it collects new, unwrapped toys and distributes them to underprivileged children. Stages Stores made a $100,000 donation to MTFTF in advance of the sale of our 2015 Community Counts “Bears that Care.” Each year, we design a holiday-themed teddy bear and donate $1 of each bear sold to MTFTF. Bears that Care can be purchased at any store or online at stage.com. In the last five years, Stage Stores has donated a total of over $450,000 to Marine Toys for Tots Foundation.
